Stop running interception for the feds.

Too many online leftist, love to do free work for the feds. Going to talk about queer spaces in particular because thats where I have my own knowledge. Plenty of the queer people who get into this pointless discourse are usually younger queers, usually teens. However this goes out to any queers that do. Stop arguing over pointless shit. Some discourse that is pushed every year is specifically designed by government agencies, and right wing organizations to divide communities. Some of these useless kinds of discourse include, Kink at Pride, Label discourse, and neo pronouns.

The biggest take away from this is I want people to understand that you need to stop having pointless arguments over things that do not matter. You are doing free work for feds and right wingers and helping to push a divide in the community more than you are getting any ground for whether your right or wrong.

Kink at Pride, This is a discourse that needs no introduction, it is rehashed every single year despite it never coming to a conclusion. Kinksters are an integral part of the queer community, and for that reason alone, kink gear at pride is a must. However even past that, kink at pride is what separates pride from being a rainbow capitalist nightmare. Kink has its designated place in the parades. It is the same reason a site should always allow sex workers. Because censoring adult content to the point it is not allowed. Means they will come for queer people. Our existence is "adult content" to some people. They will use that as justification to try to hide us and push us out of spaces. They will come for the sex workers, and then they will come for you. The idea of "respectability" at pride dates all the way back to even before stonewall. With major groups in New York fighting over whether to be out proud and ourselves, or to assimilate into the straight cis sameness.

Label Discourse, Somewhat lesser known however another big discourse amongst queer folk. The biggest pieces of label discourse I have seen recently are "Bi Lesbians" and "Trans Men Lesbians". Before even going into historical reasons for these, ask yourself. Why do you give a fuck? Why are you policing someone else's identity? And who cares? Someone's identity is so personal to them, that to say they are wrong for it, is just doing the exact same thing that the right does to you.

Bi lesbian is a term that has been around for decades now, recorded back in 1950 at the earliest, and gained popularity in the 1980s. Only after radfems made a fuss about it did it die down once again. So no this discourse is not new either, however it is still the same arguments made over and over.
Trans Male Lesbians, are trans men who identify with the term lesbian. This also has historical precedent dating back to the 1980's. However, it is also different in many ways. Trans Men often gravitate towards being a lesbian, and being in lesbians spaces before realizing their trans, this is similar to trans women in gay male spaces. These communities are interlinked so heavily, and due to that some trans people still identify more heavily with those titles.

With both of these we must ask ourselves. Does this affect me? The answer will always be no. Even if they are your friend, if you are a lesbian, their identity has no effect on you or the community, or anything else for that matter. Sexuality, and gender are so fluid, that to police these identities is counter to being queer. Trying to force sexuality and gender into rigid boxes, is just to re-introduce gender essentialism. Queerness, sexuality, and gender should be free from these limitations.

Something you'll notice is how none of this discourse is new, it all has roots in "respectability" politics. This is the same for neopronouns. The discourse surrounding neo's is always the same with it ending up being a "well they're the reason people don't respect us." As if being gay is not the issue for them. They get rid of Neo's and what then? They get rid of us one by one, tearing us apart and pitting us against each other. To the right you are still a fag, that does not change whether your a kitten/kittenself girl it thing, or a suit wearing cis white gay man. The leopards will eat your face, as they do to all the others.

All of this discourse is pointless and just continues to create a seperation of queer communities. Infiltrators atleast get paid for their work in trying to split us up, You just give them free labor, and get no recognition.
